Are you one of those who must see details first before buying a product?

We are pleased to introduce you the latest feature on The Bazaar which allows you to zoom in on any particular region of the product.

Check out the example below.

Shopping is now made easier on The Bazaar.

Previously, all the item prices on The Bazaar are all shown in US$. However, now we have added a new feature which allows you to shop using the currency of your preference.

This saves you the hassle of having to go to an external currency converter website just to get a rough estimation of how much an items would cost in your local currency – other than the US$.

Why not try this new feature out this weekend while shopping for your last minute Christmas gifts?

Since the start of The Bazaar in 2010, we have never stopped adding new features and improving the site further. However, today has got to be the major makeover done to The Bazaar.

Do take note of the following features when you shop on The Bazaar next time.

  • Broader layout to show more products

To accommodate the vast inventory of products on The Bazaar, we have increased from a 3-column to a 5-column layout on the main page.

  • Products are now shown in full glory

Last month, we abandoned the fixed square thumbnails on the main page . This means that images are now shown in full at a glimpse on the main page itself instead of having parts of the thumbnails cropped, helping buyers make purchase decisions faster.

At the same time, we have also removed the distracting red price tags on the thumbnails so as not so draw attention away from the products. The prices can still be viewed when buyers hover over the images.

  • Instant search results

With the focus now based on art buyers’ moods, search is key. As such, all search results are refreshed instantly when a keyword is entered, and buyers can browse new products without going onto new pages.

  • Easily filter products by category types and by prices

We’ve added an easy-to-use slider to allow users to set price ranges, as well as filters for them to show only specific products

  • New menu category - ‘Items we love’

We have added a new curated page to help you with your shopping by giving you ideas on what are the interesting things that you can buy.

Gone are the days of the square thumbnails showing cropped versions of product images. To fit the fixed square dimensions, thumbnails tend to be awkwardly cropped at times. This mean that potential buyers have to go through the time-consuming process of having to click on every thumbnail just to view the product in full.

Therefore to make browsing on The Bazaar less of an hassle, we have changed the image display for the thumbnails and abandoned the fixed square dimension. You can now view full images of the products right on the search page and on every seller’s store.

Thomas Chadwick is an English photographer that lives in Chicago and shoots nationally. His location work has a dry, witty sense of humor where he focuses on the details to tell a story. His serious side reveals itself in his portraiture. His subjects are primarily real people that he has chosen because of the character of their faces as well as their passions. Whether shooting a portrait of a break-dancer, an actress, or a gearhead, Thomas’ lighting and color treatments are paramount, always beautiful and unique.

But what catches our eyes is his conceptual work that brings a smile on our face.
